Notes on the history of vegetation mapping (based on the exhibition of vegetation maps at the V. L. Komarov Botanical Institute RAS, organized on the 100th anniversary of the geobotany department)

During the conference, dedicated to 100th anniversary of Department Geobotany, exhibition “Development vegetation mapping in Russia” was organized at Komarov Botanical Institute RAS. The aim show consistent development theoretical approaches compilation legends, techniques and methods, various schools Russia. About 70 maps different times, from 1900 present, were demonstrated.
